Panchayat of Salvador Do Mundo conducted a public meeting for the residents with Porvorim MLA Shri. Rohan Khaunte’s assistance. This meeting was attended by officials from Dy. Collector of North Goa, Police Inspector from Porvorim Police Station, Mamlatdar, Health, Forest, Fire Brigade, WRD, PWD, PWD Roads, Electricity department ZP member Gupesh Naik, Sarpanch Sandip Salgaonkar and Panch Members. This was a platform where the citizen could raise the issues directly with the concerned officials.
Important issues such as demarcation of Private Forests, Security concerns near Torda creek, delay in the investigation of the murder case, planned development, Healthcare and issues related to Sanitation were discussed.
