Work on the playground & joggers park and market in Housing Board was started in February 2013. The idea behind beginning the work was inclusive development for the people of Porvorim. However, after the work started, it progressed at snail’s pace.
This term, it became important for us to open this playground & joggers park for the youth of Porvorim. Hence this work has been taken up on priority.
In regard to the Housing Board market, discussions are on independently. Plans for the market are being re-looked at to ensure the market has a pleasing ambience inside. Priority has been given to complete the playground & joggers park and market in Housing Board simultaneously.
Inclusive development and making Porvorim a model constituency is what was started during our last term. This term, our aim is to take this inclusive development and growth to the next level.
